During one of my random wanderings across the newly-discovered Kreuzberg, I stopped for a while at the LPG BioMarkt from Mehringdamm, considered one of the biggest markets of this kind in Europe. I didn't know this information when visiting the place, but I felt that once there, you don't need to look for anything else outside the shop: from cosmetics to wines and fruits and vegetables and a bistro. You have the guarantee of best techniques and ingredients used and you are ready to pay a price.
The ambiance is always interesting in this kind of shops: many families with kids - with many children running to grab in the basket their favorite foods, hippy-looking people or people dressed as they just arrived from an Ashram. Overall, it was a nice insight into the life of clients of biomarkets.
