Looking for a playground

If you are in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf and you are looking for a very peaceful place to play with your children or to watch them playing, I recommend the small park from Mansfelder Strasse. It is very close to Fehrbellinerplatz U-Bahn, and opposite one of the buildings of Charlottenburg town hall. There are not always too many children, it's a lot of sand where they could play as at a real beach, plus a small ping-pong table and a basketball basket.

One of the best things about Berlin is the huge array of opportunities offered for children and families with children. Lots of playgrounds, parks and various open-air museums and farms, forests, special clubs, Zoo, shops, cafés. Add to this the friendly working-environment for families with children. The demand is high and the offer is very creative. 

This Friday, I discovered this playground on Maybachufer - a lovely place to spend a couple of hours with your children. As in many other cases, the space was given a new value and life; situated between two gray buildings, on a street colourful only because of the people living around, the colours and creative setting changed completely the direction and the mood, with a positive influence upon the whole street.
