My friend from New York who visited Berlin this week - and enjoyed the city very well with observations as ''happy to be back in Europe!" - made several observations about the separation between day and night in Germany.
According to him, daylight is starting at about 4 o'clock in the morning - phenomenon observed by the singing birds from our yard - and if you wake up at 6 o'clock you could feel like at 9 o'clock in other parts of the world. You loose the sense of the time and you feel very exhausted, mostly when you are jet-lagged and you are for the first time in Berlin.
I'm curious if other people living here are having the same feeling.
